How to Prepare for SMILE PRO Surgery - Step-by-Step Guide

Proper preparation ensures the best results from your SMILE PRO surgery. Follow this complete pre-op guide from our expert surgeons at Brar Eye Hospital.

1 Week Before Surgery

Stop Wearing Contact Lenses

Soft lenses: stop 7 days before. Hard/rigid lenses: stop 14 days before. Contacts change corneal shape and affect measurements.

Tell your doctor about all medicines you take. Some blood thinners or immunosuppressants may need to be paused.

No Eye Creams or Makeup

Avoid eye makeup, creams, perfumes near eyes for at least 3 days before surgery.

Arrange Transportation

You will NOT be able to drive after surgery. Arrange for a family member or friend to take you home.
